�����������߾�Ʒ Foundation fundraiser raised over $200k for youth-focused causes in Denver

(Denver – September 13, 2024). �����������߾�Ʒ Financial Group, a North American insurance brokerage firm specializing in risk management, insurance, wholesale brokerage and wealth management, held its 11^th annual and biggest yet “Party on the Plaza” ping-pong tournament and fundraiser on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Denver Mayor Mike Johnston help kicked off the event with opening remarks, and 40+ ping-pong teams vied for this year’s title, with all proceeds supporting Denver-area nonprofits through the �����������߾�Ʒ Foundation with nearly $200k raised this year.  

“Party on the Plaza is one of the biggest �����������߾�Ʒ Foundation fundraising events each year, and it is only possible thanks to the support of our community sponsors, teams and local partners who believe in giving back and making a difference,” said Ruth Rohs, Executive Director of the �����������߾�Ʒ Foundation. “We invite Denver to celebrate the �����������߾�Ʒ Foundation’s impact in our community and continue playing a leading role in empowering and expanding the missions of local nonprofits.”

The event was also an opportunity to celebrate this year’s �����������߾�Ʒ Foundation grant recipients, including , , , and .

This year’s theme was “Out of This World” with a costume contest for ping pong teams, and a very special local mascot bracket including Miles from the Broncos, Bernie from the Avalanche, Dinger from the Rockies and Rowdy the Roadrunner from MSU Denver in a winner-take-all mascot ping-pong battle that was won by Miles.

Giving Back to Nonprofits That Make A Difference

The �����������߾�Ʒ Foundation provides grants to organizations that have a primary focus on advancing youth, with five key areas identified: education, mental health, arts & culture, food insecurity and homelessness. In 2023, the �����������߾�Ʒ Foundation raised nearly $1 million for nonprofit organizations across the United States.
